During this time of transition at Dickinson State University, we urge the State Board of Higher Education to carefully consider the interim and permanent selections for president of DSU. The faculty and staff of DSU need a leader who will restore confidence, ensure they feel heard and respected as professionals and as individuals, and prioritize efforts to recruit and retain the high-quality educators that DSU's students deserve. Additionally, we hope that DSU and the North Dakota University System are able to implement a plan to ensure DSU's current nursing students receive a quality nursing education and keep them on track to graduate in a timely manner.
