North Dakota United is backing a proposed constitutional amendment to provide universal school meals for all students, arguing that no child should have to learn while hungry. The measure would ensure every student has access to nutritious breakfast and lunch, improving focus and academic success while saving families more than $1,000 per child each year. With broad public support across the state, advocates say the proposal reflects North Dakota’s shared commitment to supporting students, strengthening public education and investing in the future.
