North Dakota United Publishes 2025 Legislative Report Card

This is the second time NDU has offered an interactive online Report Card, though we have printed and distributed the Report Card after many legislative sessions.

BISMARCK, ND – North Dakota United’s 2025 Legislative Report Card is active. The Report Card is a resource for North Dakotans interested in how their elected representatives voted on public education and public service-related bills. This is the second time NDU has offered an interactive online Report Card.

“Those of us that are fortunate enough to live in North Dakota have grown to expect great public schools and great public service,” said NDU President Nick Archuleta. “At ND United, we believe that voters ought to know how their district’s lawmakers voted on legislation relative to these issues. Our hope is that the 2025 ND United Report Card will serve as a resource to help voters elect legislators who share their desire to support and strengthen public schools and services across North Dakota.”

The Report Card assigns lawmakers a grade from 0%-100% based on how closely their votes aligned with the best interests of public employees and educators. Below are some of the issues considered in determining those grades:

  • Lifetime Teaching Licensure
  • Private School Vouchers
  • Higher Education Funding
  • Universal Free School Meals
  • Charter Schools
  • Book Bans

Viewers can filter the Report Card by bill or by legislator. If they don’t know their lawmakers, they can quickly and easily find them on the Report Card website. Visit the NDU Legislative Report Card at reportcard.ndunited.org.
