Nominate an Outstanding Colleague for NDU ESP of the Year

Education support professionals help keep our schools safe, welcoming and ready for learning. Recognize an exceptional colleague by nominating them for North Dakota United’s ESP of the Year award. Nominations are open Oct. 1 through Dec. 1, 2026, and nominees must be NDU members.

Know an education support professional who goes above and beyond? Help them get the recognition they deserve! Education support professionals (ESPs) make a difference in young lives every day across North Dakota. The North Dakota United ESP of the Year award celebrates outstanding ESP members and the contributions they make to their schools, communities and professions.

Nominate a colleague whose dedication inspires you and whose work deserves the spotlight. Each year, the NDU ESP Advisory Board seeks a member who exemplifies the importance, value and quality of the work ESPs do. From paraprofessionals and education assistants to members working in secretarial, custodial, food service, maintenance and trades, transportation, groundskeeping, security, technology and health services, ESPs help our schools thrive. This award honors someone who brings that commitment to both their school and their community.

Nominations open Oct. 1, 2026, and close Dec. 1. Nominees must be NDU members to qualify. Think about the ESPs you work with, choose someone whose contributions stand out, and tell us what makes them exceptional.
